Terry and Pauline were absolutely fantastic. I had a lot of anxiety around driving and Terry was incredibly patient and kind with me. I especially like the way he has alternative approaches to teaching and practice and adjusts to your pace and how you learn best. Pauline was great with communication around scheduling and payment and was extremely helpful whenever I had questions. I would highly recommend TPL to anyone who has anxiety about learning to drive or neurodivergence (I have ADHD). You will be in great hands with them. I passed on my first try!

Terry was so lovely and friendly as well as being incredibly patient. The lesson plans were always amazing, and he always gave great advice on how I could improve without being rude. He would always go at a pace that I’m comfortable with and never push me to do anything I’m not comfortable with. Pauline was also very lovely, excellent at managing the lessons and planning and very easy to get hold of.

Cannot thank Terry and Pauline enough. Terry is a perfect instructor; patient, calm and never makes you feel bad for mistakes, only stronger. He is great at explaining and working with the student to build confidence and skill. Every time I felt I had struggled with something, he was able to help me identify how we can build upon it and improve. Pauline provides excellent admin support, able to accommodate the needs of the student where possible with great comms throughout my time as a learner. They make a great team. I started lessons in my mid thirties with Terry and by the end of my time with him, I felt very confident and was able to pass first time. He is a great character and I genuinely looked forward to my driving lessons with him. Thanks again TPL Driving School!

Terry is an amazing instructor who is great when you have low confidence. He makes the lessons fun and helpful but also let’s you have a break when you need to. We had such a good laugh when in lessons as well as being productive and serious when necessary. I didn’t think I’d pass but Terry made me think it was possible! Terry is a brilliant instructor. I came to driving as a 30 year old and Terry took me from novice to passing in two weeks, passing first time. Terry is incredibly patient, kind and has a lovely balance of theory, reflection and practical exercises. He has a dry wit which made our sessions very enjoyable, as well as informative.
